Tina T. Lipp, 48, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, Colo. Mrs. Lipp was born Dec. 3, 1963, in Butte, Mont., the daughter of William Sullivan and Carol Norris.

Tina grew up in Butte and attended school in Dillon, Mont. She graduated from Dillon High School and then began studying nursing and obtained her CNA in Dillon. She work in Montana and then went to Jackson Hole, Wyo., where she continued to work and met her future husband, Eric. They were married in 1991 and their daughter, Sarah was born in 1992.

The Lipp family lived in Spokane for a short time and then moved to Durango where Tina was employed at the old Mercy Hospital. In the late 1990s she stopped working at Mercy and began to work for a home health-care agency. When they moved to Bayfield, Colo., Tina was heavily involved with the Bayfield community, participating in many events that involved her daughter's school. Tina enjoyed reading, camping, hiking, fishing, crocheting and being with her beloved dog, Nikki. She also loved being with her daughter and husband.

She is survived by Eric Lipp (husband) of Bayfield; Carol Norris (mother) of Post Falls; William "Sully" and Janice Sullivan (father and mother-in-law) of Coeur d'Alene; Sarah Lipp (daughter) of Bayfield; Pauline Johnson (sister) of Post Falls; Tracy Sullivan Bell (sister) of Silverdale, Wash.; Ronnie Pat Sullivan (brother) of Post Falls; nieces Syd Johnson, Tierra Norris and Morgan Bell; and nephews Kyle Johnson and Garrett Bell.

Cremation will occur at Hood Mortuary Crematory in Durango. Private services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
