RONAN - Ronan wrestlers won nine matches at their mixer with
Superior, Deer Lodge and Plains last Thursday before Christmas
break.
The seventh-ranked Chiefs got seven pins and six of those came
within the first minute of their match.

Ronan got impressive performances from their ranked wrestlers. Third-ranked 152-pounder Shelby Grant picked up a 20-second pin over Superior's Tyler Wharry, while fifth ranked Colby Roberts pinned 189-pound Colter Lowery from Deer Lodge in :14.
Also picking up pins in less than a minute were Michael Knabe in :50 at 160 pounds, Brandon Dumont in :28 at 125 pounds, Josiah Edington in :32 at 171 pounds and Michael Irvine in :38 at 215 pounds.
At 119 pounds, Chase Rhine also won a 14-9 decision over Deer Lodge's Conner Rodgers and Mylan Caye pinned Plains' Jeff Richard in 4:37. Dumont also won another match of the day with a 9-3 decision over Dylan Roselles of Deer Lodge.
Ronan will host the Western Montana Duals on Jan. 6-7.
