Shortly after 9 p.m. on Dec. 28th, reports came in regarding power outages in and around the City of Thompson Falls.
According to Sanders County Sheriff's Office Dispatch, strong winds from a storm felled some trees that took out trees in many areas of the city.
"Some power was out all night long," Dispatch said Thursday. "We still have people coming in this morning, saying their power is still out."
Dispatch also confirmed that local electric company workers are still working on the lines and some parts of the city are still without power.
Reports from the National Weather Service in Missoula confirm strong winds, rain and stormy weather are expected for the rest of the week in the greater western Montana regions.
