MOSES LAKE - A 56-year-old woman in a wheelchair was reportedly shooting at dogs with a BB gun on Sunny Drive.

A witness called police Saturday to report a woman, wearing a pink coat and riding a motor chair, had a black CO2 pistol concealed in her "breast area," according to a Moses Lake police report provided to the Columbia Basin Herald on Tuesday.

The witness advised he observed the woman shoot four to five times at dogs, although police found no physical evidence the animals were struck by the BBs.

Police reportedly contacted the woman who stated she "only pointed the pistol at the dogs," and the gun was confiscated as evidence.

The witness agreed to provide a written statement to police.
