POLSON — For its signature project in 2011, the Polson Rotary Club raised money to help out the Boys and Girls Club by donating a van to the group, which was presented to them on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Through various donations, as well as a chili cook-off in Polson, the Rotary Club was able to help out the Boys and Girls Club in a big way. The club uses transportation to help children in Polson and Ronan take field trips throughout the year.

In the winter, the children have been visiting nursing homes in the region, while in the summer, the club has organized trips to the National Bison Range and the Miracle of America Museum, among other activities.

Now, thanks to the Rotary Club, they’ll be able to expand on that ability and help drive kids to reach their full potential.
