Cars bogged down on Hodgson Road

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a request Sunday morning from the Montana Highway Patrol to check on several vehicles that were stuck on Hodgson Road because four-wheel drive was necessary to access the area through deep snow drifts. The county road department was also called in to assist.
A woman called from a Cottonwood Drive address to report that she had been approached by a man who was covered in a substantial amount of blood asking her for a cigarette. The man later claimed the blood was from a friend who had attempted to commit suicide earlier.
There was a report of a man punching a woman at a Woodland Road address in the Columbia Falls area. The incident is under investigation.
A man called from School Addition Road in the Somers area to report that his wife had hit him. The man had apparently been drinking, and was advised that he had an outstanding warrant and the couple was separated for the night.
A man calling from Armory Road in the Whitefish area reported that his son, 15, had been assaulted by another person the previous night.
A man calling from a Montana 35 address in the Evergreen area reported that his mother was repeatedly harassing him by calling and texting him from a Parliament Drive address. Later, there was a report of a dispute between the same woman and a man who reportedly broke a picture frame window. The two had apparently been drinking for four days, but no one was injured and both refused to talk with deputies.
Kalispell Police took a report of a baby sitter who left 7- and 8-year-old children in the 700 block of Ninth Avenue West and went to a bar at 11:19 a.m. Sunday.
A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident at 2:41 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Third Avenue East North after a blue Chevy Lumina struck a white Ford Taurus.
A man reportedly assaulted a woman in the 100 block of Second Avenue West at 4:32 p.m. Sunday.
A woman reported that two dogs jumped a fence and chased her while she was walking in the 700 block of Second Street West at 5:18 p.m. Sunday.
A woman lost her purse at a restaurant on U.S. 93 North Sunday evening.
A man said his step-daughter was making harassing phone calls in the 500 block of Fifth Avenue West North at 9:43 p.m. Sunday. The step-daughter’s boyfriend reportedly threatened the step-dad’s dogs. The step-daughter said she called her mother to let her know that she wouldn’t be staying there that night.
A suspicious person was reported on Hawthorn Avenue at 10:28 p.m. Sunday after someone heard a car door slam and an alarm went off.
A man was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. The man was upset that the police were following him and said he would run into them if they stopped him.
Police arrested a 36-year-old man for theft after he walked out of a grocery store in the 600 block of East Idaho Street without paying for goods at 4:20 a.m. Monday.
A 22-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 100 block of Fourth Street West at 6:09 a.m. Monday.
A woman reported that apartment management and her upstairs neighbor were harassing her in the 300 block of Two Mile Drive at 8:03 a.m. Sunday.
A woman reported that an early 2000 model Land Rover or Range Rover hit her vehicle and left the scene in the 600 block of Fourth Avenue West at 8:15 a.m. Sunday.
Homeless people keep sleeping in the stairwell of a church in the 600 block of South Main Street, it was reported Sunday.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for accountability to robbery Sunday.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on a warrant from Whitefish after he came to the 1300 block of U.S. 2 West to get his new license Sunday.
Police responded to a report of a juvenile male driving a 1994 blue Nissan Sentra on Buttercup Loop. A 4-year-old boy was almost hit by the vehicle Saturday.
A woman reported that a man threw a knife at another person at a residence on the east side of Kalispell Saturday. The man apparently was throwing at a wooden block in another room.
A man opened someone’s door without permission in the 100 block of Ninth Avenue West Saturday. The man was recently released from Warm Springs.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in the 1500 block of U.S. 93 South after his wife called and said he was “being an ass” and had been drinking.
Someone reported that juveniles left chunks of ice in the middle of the road of Ninth Street and Sixth Avenue West on Saturday. The ice was removed.

Two 17-year-old males were arrested after police received a report of someone going through two vehicles on Windriver Drive Sunday. Both males were charged with theft. One was also charged with possession of drugs and alcohol. The other was also charged with criminal trespass and possession of alcohol and tobacco.
Someone reported that her house was egged in the 1700 block of Bluestone Sunday.
A woman called Sunday to report that her husband took a 7-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl. The couple is in the middle of a divorce and there is no parenting plan in place.
A woman reported that a neighbor was harassing and threatening her on Two Mile Drive on Sunday.
A dog bit a 4-year-old boy in the face on Fifth Avenue West North at Sunday. Medical service was not requested.
