Overwhelmed yet?

Welcome to the world of weddings.

Don't elope yet, though. Help is available.

Folks can fine tune all their wedding plans this Wednesday at the third annual Northwest Bride Expo, said event coordinator Andreas John.

"You can come to the show, spend three hours and have a beautiful evening," John said. "You get to eat food, have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with area vendors, and plan your wedding."

The free event, put on by the Coeur d'Alene Press and Post Falls Press, includes a bridal attire fashion show with skits and music.

Folks can also visit roughly 40 local vendors spanning all facets of wedding planning, including photography, invitations, floral and more.

"This is a show that actually targets this area. This is what we do the show for," John said. "You can get everything from rental equipment to limousine services to cake to wedding dresses. You name it. Everything you would need to have."

The event is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday night at The Coeur d'Alene Resort. Parking in The Resort garage will be free during the show.

The evening also includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a no-host bar.

A $400 Coeur d'Alene Resort gift card will be given away at the end of the event. Vendors are also offering more than $1,000 in prizes.

"We want this to be where you go to have fun, have a good time, and it doesn't require eight hours of your day," John said. "We like to have a lot of fun."
