OTHELLO - It may be dim, but the playoff heartbeat for the Othello Huskies remains.
After their 66-55 win over Prosser on Saturday, Othello (5-13, 3-13), will need to win their next two games while the Mustangs would have to lose their next two in order for the Huskies to even have any chance at potentially sneaking into the CWAC district playoffs.
But on Saturday Othello got the job done to stay alive as they build a 10-points halftime lead and held on for the win.
Drew Scott led the Huskies with 19 points while Sam Para added 13 points and David Garza popped in 11 points.
On Friday night, Wapato cruised to a 79-51 win over Othello.
Wapato led 52-25 by halftime and never looked back as Garza led Othello with 16 points.
