EPHRATA - Getting production from all 11 players that checking in, the Ephrata Lady Tigers continued their late season surge Tuesday night with a 65-28 beating of their arch rivals Quincy.

The visiting Lady Jacks (3-16, 3-14) gave it a go in the first half of the Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) clash, trailing 15-9 after the first quarter and staying within 32-20 at intermission.

However, a 17-4 third quarter run by Ephrata (11-8, 9-8) in the third quarter effectively put the game out of reach.

"We kept it pretty close in the first half," Quincy head coach Cully Donovan said. "They put that big run on us and that was all she wrote. Ephrata is an athletic team with a lot of kids who can score."

Ephrata, who can finish no higher than their current fifth-place heading into the district playoffs, got 14-points apiece from Kelsey Yenney and Abby Smith.

Desi Durfee scored 11 points to lead Quincy, who also got seven points from Janna Hodges.

"It was nice to get all 11 players that played to score," Ephrata head coach Aaron Ross said. "We played an all-around great game."
