LUCKY: Angels find man - twice

Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 15 years, 3 months AGO

This month my gold wedding band slipped off my finger without me noticing near the entrance inside Super 1 due to weight loss from medication. I didn't notice until I was home. When I fearfully called the store I was told that a fellow had found it and turned it in, but hadn't left his name for a reward. Amazing! A pure angel... yes?

Days later I paid for items at Ace Hardware but hadn't secured my wallet well and it must have slipped out in the parking lot unnoticed. When I got home there was a message waiting for me that a fellow had found it in the parking lot and turned it in. He hadn't left his name. There was all the cash and credit cards, etc. Astounding! Two magnificent angels in a row.

Now I'm left with no one to thank and bless. I guess I will have to keep looking for a way to "Pay it Forward." If the two gentlemen read this they should know how much I admire their beautiful souls.

In this age of hardship and runaway greed they restore my faith in the essential goodness of humanity. At least the angels among us.
