The Lincoln County Public Libraries

Foundation and the Libby Friends of the Library plan to host a

dessert and signed-book auction from 7-9 p.m., on Friday, Feb.

11.

Participants will be able to browse and

bid on books as well as homemade desserts. Signed books range from

local and Montana authors to well-known national writers such as

John Grisham, Audrey Niffenegger, Christopher Paolini and Patrick

McManus.

No entry fee is charged to the event

but a $5 donation is requested to help raise funds for the

foundation.

The silent auction will begin at 7

p.m., with bids to close at 8:30 so winners may take home their

prizes.

For more information, call the Libby

Library at 293-2778.
