Book, dessert auction to help county libraries

The Lincoln County Public Libraries
Foundation and the Libby Friends of the Library plan to host a
dessert and signed-book auction from 7-9 p.m., on Friday, Feb.
11.
Participants will be able to browse and
bid on books as well as homemade desserts. Signed books range from
local and Montana authors to well-known national writers such as
John Grisham, Audrey Niffenegger, Christopher Paolini and Patrick
McManus.
No entry fee is charged to the event
but a $5 donation is requested to help raise funds for the
foundation.
The silent auction will begin at 7
p.m., with bids to close at 8:30 so winners may take home their
prizes.
