DEER PARK - One more win stands between the

Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors and a Northeast District 1B

tournament title.

The top-ranked Warriors (22-0) ensured that with a strong 62-42

semifinal win over Cusick on Saturday at Deer Park High School.

The top-ranked Warriors (22-0) ensured that with a strong 62-42 semifinal win over Cusick on Saturday at Deer Park High School.

This Saturday, ACH will battle another elite Class 1B state team. Wellpinit, at 7 p.m. for the crown at the same site.

Against Cusick, ACH jumped out to a 16-3 lead after the first quarter and led by 19 at halftime to get what they needed to hold on for the victory.

Junior guard Derek Isaak led the way for ACH with 28 points while Thunder Wellhausen added 14 points for the Warriors.
