Whitefish High School recently hired former Bulldog head football coach Patrick Dryden as the new girls tennis coach. Dryden replaces 2010 head coach Mike Watson.

“We’re really excited to have Pat back,” Whitefish athletic director Jackie Fuller said. “We have the confidence that he can build the program to where we want it to be.”

The Lady Bulldogs finished fourth in the divisional tennis tournament last season and failed to qualify any netters for the Class A state tourney.

Dryden coached the high school’s girls tennis team for a number of seasons prior to becoming the Bulldogs’ football coach. He’s a social studies teach at Whitefish Middle School.
