McEUEN: Plan's on thin ice

I am 12 years old and in seventh grade at the Coeur d' Alene Charter Academy. I am submitting this letter regarding McEuen Field. I grew up downtown and I have been going to McEuen Field for as long as I can remember. My mom and I both have great memories of going to McEuen Field and just being able to run around. I personally do not think it is a good idea to put a pool/ice skating rink in the field. I am all for the parking garage, but the only problem is that the city really doesn't have the money for that right now. I think that if the city puts an ice skating rink in the field, it will diminish the chances of kids being able to go down to the field like I was able to do for most of my life. Again, I am all for the parking garage, but 100 percent against the ice skating rink.
