Icy end for stolen Toyota

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of a stolen Toyota 4Runner in a parking lot off of Airport Road. The vehicle was later found submerged in ice west of Kalispell. No one was inside the vehicle and a responder observed there were footprints leading away from the scene. Smith Valley Fire Department officials were planning to have the vehicle towed out of the ice after a dive team confirmed no one was in the vehicle.

Three juveniles and one adult were arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs at Glacier High School on Wolfpack Way.

On Western Drive, a woman said that a man threw her mother out of a chair. She later declined to pursue charges.

A verbal disturbance was reported on Eighth Avenue West where two female roommates were arguing.

Trespassing was alleged on Liberty Street where a woman said her ex-boyfriend walked into her home without permission. He left before an officer could respond.

An officer removed an intoxicated man from a hotel room on North Main Street after an employee reported the man was trespassing.

Extra patrols were requested on Sherry Lane where a caller reported seeing someone in a car working on a laptop. The caller had seen the person on several occasions.

A group of young men were heard screaming for several minutes on Second Street West. An officer spoke to one of the men who was told to go inside for the evening.

Criminal mischief was reported on South Main Street where someone spray-painted graffiti on a business for the second time in a week.

Four boys were seen ringing door bells and then running on Third Avenue West.

Someone egged a vehicle parked near Windriver Drive. Another vehicle was egged on Leisure Drive.

An officer located a runaway teenage girl at an apartment on Third Avenue West.

A man agreed to leave a home on Sixth Avenue West after it was reported that he was intoxicated, threatening people and punching holes in walls.

The Badrock Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Jensen Road east of Columbia Falls.
