Three players from the state champion Bigfork Vikings earned all-state football honors in Class B for the 2010 season.
Senior Travis Knoll and juniors Austin Cantrell and Connor Coleman picked up top honors after helping lead the Vikings to a 10-2 record and the program's first state title.
Bigfork, in the playoffs for the first time in eight seasons after moving back to Class B, defeated Fairfield 24-21 on Nov. 20 after quarterback Christian Ker connected on a game-winning TD pass to Knoll with eight seconds remaining. The program had gone winless for 28 games in a row before snapping the streak in 2009 and building into state champs this season.
Eureka, which made the playoffs for the fourth-straight year and ninth time in 11 years, had three all-state players: seniors Colin Gillard, Taylor Vaughn and Ryan Holder. The Lions lost to Columbus 33-26 in double overtime of the opening round of the playoffs and finished the season 6-3.
The Class B all-state volleyball team has been announced and two area players picked up top honors.
Bigfork's Mallery Knoll and Eureka's Selene Elster made the team of 24 girls from across the state.
