Charlo's typical shut-down defense held Shields Valley to four first quater points while they sprinted out to a 25-10 halftime lead. In the second quarter, Deondra Brown hit two three-pointers and helped spart a 13-0 run for the Vikings. She would finish the game with 10 points.

The Lady Vikings maintained their lead to win 38-26 on Wednesday night in the second half and moved on in the brackets. Kinley Pope led the team with 12 points, nine rebounds and six steals.

They'll play Ennis today at 7 p.m.
