BUTTE - Some last second free throws lifted Shields Valley to a 52-46 win over Charlo on Thursday in the first round of the Western A Divisionals in Butte.

Charlo had the 26-19 lead at halftime before Shields Valley went on a 20-8 run in the third quarter to take the lead. In the fourth quarter, the team hit their free throws to hold on to the win. The Vikings shot 16-for-52 from the field.

Charlo was led by Dillon Delaney with 14 points and eight rebounds.

Charlo - 17 - 9 - 8 - 12 - 46

Shields Valley - 13 - 6 - 20 - 13 - 52
