BUTTE - Ennis got out to an 18-5 start in the first quarter and was able to maintain that lead against Charlo for the 46-36 victory.

The Lady Vikings spent the rest of the game trying to play catch up but couldn't quite get the breakthrough they were looking for. They were 0-for-10 from beyond the three-point arch. As a whole, the team shot 33 percent from the field.

Ennis scored in double digits in the first and fourth quarters, something very rare against the Lady Vikings defense. Meanwhile, Charlo didn't score over double digits in a period until the fourth quarter.

Dawn Blevins was the leading scorer for the Lady Vikings with nine points.

Charlo will take on Twin Bridges at 11 a.m

Charlo - 5 - 7 - 8 - 16 - 36

You’ll have to excuse me for stating the obvious, I’m assuming everyone in Polson already knows this but Neal Lewing is one heck of an actor. I was first able to see the Port Polson player as Judge Turpin in the production of Sweeney Todd last November.
