Hagadone Hospitality has announced a new entertainment venue in downtown Coeur d'Alene.

Located on Sherman Avenue next to Tito Macaroni's Restaurant, the new venue will be open seven nights a week, and will also tailor special events to corporate or individual requests.

"This will be a fun, classy and entertaining place to enjoy the atmosphere of downtown Coeur d'Alene," said Jerry Jaeger, president and co-owner of Hagadone Hospitality.

It will have indoor and outdoor seating along Sherman Avenue, as well as multi-level seats surrounding the dance floor.

"Here, you can go casual on the sidewalk, be at the heart of the party on the dance floor, or relax in one of our VIP booths," said Bill Reagan, general manager of The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Patrons can select their beverage preferences from a full bar, and dine from a simple lounge menu. Live bands are booked for weekend entertainment, with DJs providing music at other times. The high-tech sound system will be the finest in North Idaho, Jaeger said.

The Shore Lounge, a bar and entertainment center in The Coeur d'Alene Resort, will close when the new facility opens and be converted into additional meeting, reception and banquet space.

Tito's restaurant, which adjoins the new venue, will have a re-designed interior, menu and other features.

With this added space, as well as the new Hagadone Event Center set to open in July at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course, Hagadone Hospitality significantly increases its facilities for convention and group business.

"With more space, we can bring larger groups and more business to town, and help to stimulate the economy," Jaeger said. "That is the goal of our chairman, Duane Hagadone, and this will be another positive step in that direction."

The new entertainment bar - with a name yet to be unveiled - is scheduled to open in June and will be a design/build project by CPI, said John Barlow, president of Hagadone Real Estate.
