Todd L. Moe, 34, of Coeur d'Alene, died suddenly Feb. 24, 2011, from a heart attack while at work at a Schweitzer Ski Resort restaurant.

He was born April 13, 1976, to Terry and Toni (Bryntesen) Moe in Coeur d'Alene. He lived in St. Maries until he was 6 years old when he moved to Coeur d'Alene.

While in middle school he enjoyed playing sports. When he went to high school, he enjoyed playing drums. He graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1994. His first job in the food service industry was at Third Street Cantina.

He married Starr Deevers in 1998 in Hope. He later went to work for the Moon Time restaurant in Coeur d'Alene and in 2004 went to work for the Porch restaurant in Hayden. He worked that summer for the Boathouse restaurant on Hayden Lake. In September 2004 he went to work for St. Bernard restaurant at Schweitzer Ski Resort in Sandpoint. He worked there as the kitchen chef.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking with his sons.

He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Starr and sons Peyton and Bryson Moe all of Post Falls; and his parents, Terry and Toni Moe of Coeur d'Alene. Also surviving are his brothers, Heath Moe of Wisconsin, Brad and Ryan Moe of Hayden, Chad and Tab Moe and his sister, Heather Moe, all of Coeur d'Alene. He is also survived by his step-grandmother, Virginia Bryntesen of St. Maries.

A memorial Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d'Alene, with Fr. Roger LaChance officiating. A reception will follow services at the church.
