Virginia Overjorde Cadeaux, 87

Virginia Overjorde Cadeaux was born in Coeur d'Alene in 1923 to George and Marie Overjorde. Virginia passed away in Lincoln City, Ore., on Feb. 22, 2011, at the age of 87. She left Coeur d'Alene after high school to attend Mills College in Oakland, Calif.
While in college she met and married Charles Daniels. They had two children. Virginia was united in marriage to Milton Cadeaux in 1959. They lived together in Alameda, Calif., until Milton's death. Virginia lived in Alameda until 2008 when she moved to Tillamook, Ore., to be with her daughter.
She is the granddaughter of E.L. Overjorde who brought the street clock to Coeur d'Alene to sit outside his jewelry store on Sherman.
Virginia taught music for more than 60 years, she enjoyed traveling the world, and she belonged to numerous service and social clubs. She was a founding member of the East Bay Organ Club, and a member of Black Sheep Spinning and Weaving Guild. Virginia was an avid piano player, organist and flute player. She enjoyed gardening and was very artistic.
Virginia was predeceased by husband Charles Daniels, husband Milton Cadeaux, stepson Gary Cadeaux and son Robert D. Daniels.
She is survived by her loving family, brother Bradley Edwards and his family of Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Merrily and Wes Ario of Pacific City, Ore.; stepdaughter Carol Cadeaux of Eureka, Calif.; daughter-in-law Frances McRann of Doylestown, Pa.; granddaughters Karen Thomas, Michelle Dixon and Renee Johnson of California.
At Virginia's request there will be no funeral. She will be cremated and interred later in Forest Cemetery, Coeur d'Alene.
