ELLENSBURG - After falling down big early, the Quincy Lady Jackrabbits made a late run but would ultimately fall short.

Trailing 20-3 after the first quarter against hosts Ellensburg, Quincy's rally got them within eight points late but it wasn't enough as the Bulldogs held on for a 53-35 CWAC win last night.

"We played even with them after the first quarter," Quincy head coach Cully Donovan said. "We are still having trouble putting together four good quarters of basketball."

Desi Durfee led Quincy (2-7, 2-5) with 12 points and Cassidee Davis added nine points.
