ROYAL CITY - Royal remained winless in South Central Athletic Conference (SCAC) East play as they fell 67-11 to Connell on Saturday.

The host Lady Knights trailed 18-0 at the end of the first quarter and 41-3 at halftime.

Steph Guadarrama led Royal (1-8, 0-3) with six points.

The previous evening, Royal fell 56-24 at Mabton.

Terrin Gonzales led Royal with seven points as the Lady Knights trailed by 18 points at halftime and could not bounce back.
