The 3rd Annual Moose Madness spirit competition ended up being a win-win for everyone involved and with Bonners Ferry accepting the Moose Madness antlers.
The student athletes from both communities afforded themselves well on the various fields of competition. We were treated to men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling over the weekend.
The students competed in a number of different activities both during the school week as well as Saturday night, which resulted in Bonners Ferry winning the 3rd installment of Moose Madness.
But, the real winners of the competition are the communities of Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry. The two schools rose over $2,500 during their completion, which this year goes to Habitat for Humanity. Best of all, Boundary and Bonner counties had the opportunity to get involved, make a difference and celebrate the successes of our young people.
