MISSOULA - Glacier wrestlers Zach Barber and Jackson Barber were on the mat for a grand total of 1:38 on Friday night at Missoula Big Sky.

Zach Barber (125) pinned his Eagle opponent in 52 seconds. Jackson (135) was even quicker, 46 seconds.

All in all, the Wolfpack came away with a 67-9 victory.

"I thought the two Barbers wrestled really well," Glacier coach Mark Fischer said.

Others who picked up pins for the Wolfpack were Lucas Mantel (130), Cooper Sipe (140), Shane St. Onge (152), Dawson Day (160) and Joel Horn (285).

"I think Big Sky is an up-and-coming team. I don't think mentally we were prepared at the beginning. We were a little bit sluggish," Fischer said.

"Kids were getting the job done," he hastened to add.

"We lost a couple of matches, but they came away and finished the job. This was a good lesson for us to make sure we get our good warmup in. We were just a little bit tired and a few kids relaxed a little too much," he said.

"But once it got to the light guys, I thought they really wrestled solid," he said.

"I've got to compliment those Big Sky kids. They came after us. They were solid."

The Wolfpack is at the Class AA duals in Butte today.

"There are five teams there that think they have a shot at the tournament at the end of the season. We'll love to get that measuring stick out and see where we are at," Fischer said.
