ROYAL CITY - A strong first half performance was plenty good for the Royal Knights to secure a season sweep of arch rivals Warden on Saturday night.

Led by the double-digit performances of three Knights, Royal held on for a 52-42 win.

Kent Christensen led Royal with 12 points, while Reed Lefler added 11 points and Brady Dixon knocked in 10 points.

Warden was led by Victor Flores' 19 points in the loss.

The previous evening, the Cougars were outscored 29-11 in the fourth quarter to let go of a big lead and lose to Kittitas 46-42 in Central Washington South 2B play.

Kittitas had scored only 19 points over the game's first 24 minutes.

The Cougars were led by Conrad Ruge's 12 point outing.
