The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a man who said his ex-girlfriend “freaked out,” kicked him out of a vehicle on Hard Rock Road in the Somers area, and then started swinging a baseball bat at him.

A woman called to report that a woman who lives in a nearby residence on Montana 35 came over and hit her in the face. Then the suspect’s boyfriend went after the reporting party’s boyfriend with a big piece of wood. The matter is under investigation.

There was a report of a man walking into a restaurant on U.S. 2 in Evergreen with no shoes, and acting strangely. The man left and walked over to a nearby restaurant.

There was a report of an elk with an injured leg getting tangled in a fence of Montana 206, but it apparently freed itself.

A woman calling from Pheasant Road in the Columbia Falls area said that a  45-year-old man had threatened her son over a broken skateboard.

A woman called from Harmony Road in Evergreen to say that after arguing with her boyfriend most of the day, he threw a rock through a window at her home.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday of a male and female attempting to steal jewelry and condoms from a store on Hutton Ranch Road. The female ended up getting caught and cited for shoplifting but the male got away.

Relatives of a 15-year-old girl called to report that she had been assaulted by her mother on the 800 block of Eighth Avenue West.

A person calling from a business on the 400 block of Main Street reporting that a door had been broken sometime during the day and items were missing.

Responding to a report of suspicious people in Woodland Park at about 3 a.m.. Monday, officers arrested two juvenile males for curfew violations and possessing tobacco.

There was a report of copper pipe being stolen from a construction site on Hutton Ranch Road.

A man calling from the 400 block of Parkway Drive said that his daughter had stolen and forged checks.

 A person reported that someone had broken into and taken money from an establishment on the 50 block of First Avenue West North.

A store on the 2400 block of U.S. 93 North caught the theft of lottery tickets Sunday night on video.

After getting a report about a pickup truck swerving on a road and narrowly missing multiple head-on collisions, Whitefish Police arrested a woman for drunk driving on U.S. 93 South Sunday night.
