Woman 'freaks out' on ex-boyfriend

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a man who said his ex-girlfriend “freaked out,” kicked him out of a vehicle on Hard Rock Road in the Somers area, and then started swinging a baseball bat at him.
A woman called to report that a woman who lives in a nearby residence on Montana 35 came over and hit her in the face. Then the suspect’s boyfriend went after the reporting party’s boyfriend with a big piece of wood. The matter is under investigation.
There was a report of a man walking into a restaurant on U.S. 2 in Evergreen with no shoes, and acting strangely. The man left and walked over to a nearby restaurant.
There was a report of an elk with an injured leg getting tangled in a fence of Montana 206, but it apparently freed itself.
