The Diabetes Support Group, sponsored
by St. John’s Lutheran Hospital, plans to meet on Tuesday, Feb. 8
at 7 p.m., at Christ Lutheran Church in Libby.
Nicole Kapan of St. John’s will present
a program on the “DASH Diet.”
Christ Lutheran Church is located at
200 W. Larch St.
St. John’s Nutrition and Diabetes
Support Services will present “Basic Diabetes Self-Care” on
Thursday, Feb. 3 from 3:30-5:30 p.m., and “Carbohydrate Counting”
on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 4-6 p.m.
Both classes will be held in the
hospital’s Leigh Lake Conference Room and cost $25 each.

Also in February, a free public health
seminar is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 10 at 11:30 a.m., at the
Montana Athletic Club.
Carolyn Peterson, speech and language
pathologist from St. John’s, will present a program entitled,
“Brain Games.”
