WILSON CREEK 50

WILSON CREEK - A surging Cascade Christian squad continued its surge toward the top of the North Cental Washington 1B league with a 67-50 win at Wilson Creek on Tuesday night.

The score, however, is misleading, as Wilson Creek (7-7. 4-3) led 27-24 at halftime and were only down one, 38-37 going into the fourth quarter before foul trouble and an old nemesis reared their ugly heads.

"The turnover bug once again killed us tonight," Wilson Creek head coach Keith Jensen said. "There were too many times we didn't even get a shot off."

Jacob Treat and Derek Fredere each scored 15 points to lead Wilson Creek, while Austin Reyes added 14 points.
