QUINCY - A tough night fielding a full team came back to bite the Quincy Jacks wrestlers in their Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) wrestling match Tuesday night.

Taking on one of the tougher CWAC schools, the Jacks forfeited the four heaviest weight classes, losing 24 vital team points, in a 42-27 defeat.

The Jacks can take solace in the fact that while earning six points themselves via Selah forfeit, that they outscored the visiting Vikings 21-18 on the mat.

Winning for the Jacks were Hector Avalos (119-pounds) and Manny Ybarra (135-pounds) via first round pins.

Quincy's Gabe Martinez (103-pounds) took a 4-3 decision, while Uriel Heras (125-pounds) escaped with a solid 8-1 win.

Ben Horning scored a 6-2 win at 152-pounds for the Jacks.
