POLSON - Alex Cislo and Justin Wicka each hit home runs as the Libby Loggers downed the Deer Lodge Wranglers 6-2 on Friday at the Mission Valley Mariner Firecracker Tournament.

It was the seventh home run of the season for Cislo and the fourth for Wicka.

Chris Herbig was also 2-for-3 on the day with a double and an RBI.

Cislo's homer, to right center, got the Loggers off on the right track in the first inning.

"They threw a pretty good pitcher at us and we put some good swings on it," said Libby coach Kelly Morford.

Morford complimented Wicka's defensive efforts as well. The shortstop recorded five assists on the day.

The Loggers, 26-16 overall, take on the Missoula Pioneers at 8:30 a.m. today. Missoula is 1-1 in the tournament after losing today to the Mission Valley B team.
