The Libby Loggers capitalized on 20 base hits to top the Missoula Pioneers 16-7 Saturday in a Class A American Legion matchup at the Firecracker Tournament in Polson.

All nine Libby starters had hits in the game and seven batted in at least one run. Justyn Mack and Jared Winslow each had three RBIs.

Winslow and Alex Bluhm both homered in the game.

Libby pitcher Justin Wicka earned the win, making his season record 9-1.

Other scores Saturday were: Deer Lodge 6, Kootenai Valley 4, Mission Valley A 11, Lakers 3, Glacier Twins 11, Mission Valley B 3, Mission Valley A 6, Cranbrook Bandits 0.
