OBAMA: Sadly, a fan of robots
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 15 years, 2 months AGO
I really need to laugh at the article in the Business section, "Obama pushes for high tech manufacturing." This is a person who has never produced, manufactured or created.
He has never run a business or worked in the private sector. He is a non-producer. This is a person who has taken a poor economy, and with massive government interventions has succeeded in furthering its collapse. He has discouraged private investment and has encouraged excessive union demands.
You cannot regulate science or creativity. Capitalism has been the only system that has allowed the atmosphere for needed invention and production. The system of Keynesian economics that Obama adheres to demands a system where government eventually picks the winners and losers. By the way, wasn't it Obama who was complaining about jobs being taken by ATM machines and self-check-in kiosks at the airport? And here he wants to have robots - robotic research so robots can work alongside people.
We have robotic machinery already replacing people on assembly lines. They are faster and more efficient than people, do not get sick or go on strike, but Obama wants the mobile variety that can literally replace a man.
