LIBBY - Justin Wicka held Kootenai Valley to two hits and picked up his 10th win for the Libby Loggers baseball team on Friday night.

The Loggers took both halves of a twinbill from the Rangers, 11-0 in the first game and 8-4 in the nightcap.

Jared Winslow picked up the win in the second game.

"That's pretty impressive," Libby coach Kelly Morford said of Wicka's efforts on the season.

"He's got movement on his fastball, he stays efficient and he's throwing strikes," the coach added.

"We dropped one to these guys down in Polson, so the kids were excited to have a chance to play them again," Morford said.

"We made one error on the day, so we were solid defensively," he added.

The Loggers (30-18, 12-0) are at Kalispell next Wednesday.
