Dodgers, no-hit for 8, win in 9th

NATIONAL LEAGUE

The Los Angeles Dodgers got their first hit with two out in the ninth inning Saturday and still beat the visiting San Diego Padres 1-0 when Dioner Navarro singled in Juan Uribe for the unlikely victory.

Uribe was down to his last strike when he drove a pitch from Luke Gregerson over the head of left fielder Chris Denorfia for Los Angeles' first hit and only the second hit of the game for either team. The Padres have never had a no-hitter in their 43-year history.

Rockies 2, Nationals 1: Ubaldo Jimenez allowed one run in eight innings, leading Colorado at Washington.

Braves 4, Phillies 1, 11 inn.: Alex Gonzalez hit the go-ahead RBI single in the 11th, leading Atlanta at Philadelphia.

Reds 8, Brewers 4, 10 inn.: Jay Bruce hit a solo homer to start the 10th and Cincinnati exploded for five runs in the inning to win at Milwaukee.

Cubs 6, Pirates 3: Ryan Dempster won for the first time in five starts, leading Chicago at Pittsburgh.

Marlins 6, Astros 1: At Miami, Logan Morrison hit a bases-loaded triple, leading Florida past Houston.

Cardinals 7, Diamondbacks 6: Tony Cruz's RBI double in the ninth lifted St. Louis past visiting Arizona.

Giants 3, Mets 1: Tim Lincecum labored through six innings to win for the second time in his past eight starts and host San Francisco beat New York.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

White Sox 4, Twins 3: Alexei Ramirez's RBI single in the ninth lifted Chicago past visiting Minnesota.

Red Sox 4, Orioles 0: John Lackey tossed 6 2/3 shutout innings, leading host Boston past Baltimore.

Blue Jays 5, Indians 4, 10 inn.: Jose Bautista led off the 10th with his second homer of the game, lifting Toronto at Cleveland.

Royals 13, Tigers 6: Alex Gordon belted a three-run homer in Kansas City's rout of visiting Detroit.

Rangers 7, Athletics 6: At Arlington, Texas, Josh Hamilton hit a game-ending, two-run homer to give Texas a victory over Oakland and extend the Rangers' winning streak to six games.
