SPOKANE VALLEY - Carla Altepeter, president/CEO of CitizensFirst Credit Union in Oshkosh, Wisc., was recently appointed as Numerica Credit Union's new chief executive officer.

She starts work at Numerica on Sept. 1.

She replaces Dennis Cutter. He retires from Numerica on Aug. 31 after 40 years of service.

Cutter said Altepeter's commitment to the community appealed to the board of directors.

"Her most notable quality is her strong belief in the philosophy of 'people helping people,'" Cutter stated. "These qualities run parallel to those of Numerica, making her a perfect fit."

She holds a baccalaureate degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
