Bonnie Ruth Elliott died Jan. 4, 2011. A family service was held July 13, 2011, at Pinegrove Cemetery, in Rathdrum.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1945, in Rockford, Wash., to Robert and Lillian Brown. Bonnie was the fourth of nine children.
Bonnie grew up in Rathdrum and attended school there. She graduated from Lakeland High School, then North Idaho College.
She worked for Seattle's Boeing Aircraft Co., as a secretary. There she met and married Gary Elliott.
After moving back to Rathdrum, Bonnie worked for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Post Falls School District and then as an in-home caregiver.
Bonnie volunteered for various charitable organizations. She enjoyed gardening and she loved her pet animals.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Gary; sons Mark and Michael; brothers Darrel, Kenneth, Dennis and Larry; sisters Betty, Patsy and Kathy.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest sister Nancy. Memorials in remembrance of Bonnie may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank or to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 13541 Highway 53, Rathdrum.
