Reader grateful for garage sale support

Last Saturday, July 16, I held a garage sale to help raise money for the Evergreen Chapter of the ALS Association. My Aunt Betty passed away 4 years ago from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and this was in honor of "Team Betty." I would like to thank the Moses Lake community for coming out and supporting it in such a generous way, especially the little girl that handed me her big bag of coins! She contributed $8.50 of her own money, which helped me raise a total of $840, all of which has been sent to the foundation to help the cause! This is the best community to live in! Please join me walking this Oct. 1 at the "Walk to Defeat ALS" or watch my fundraising progress at web.alsa.org/goto/mckenna

Thank you everyone again!
