MATTAWA - The Wahluke Enrichment Organization (WEO) will celebrate the second annual Dance in the Sand at Sandbar Marine at the Port of Mattawa on Saturday, July 30.

Dance in the Sand will go from 4-9 p.m. Live music will be provided by Straight Shots. There will be DJ music during the breaks.

Dance in the Sand is a community/family event, according to Tiddaly Diddaly owner Anita Brown, one of the organizers. However, there will be a segregated wine/beer garden.

Dance in the Sand will include WEO's "world famous" barbecue. It will be part of a $10 five-course meal. There will also be hot dogs and hamburgers for children.

Dance in the Sand will also include raffles of prize packages donated by local businesses.

All proceeds from Dance in the Sand will go to the support of WEO projects.
