MATTAWA - Police Chief Steve Jensen has reported to the Mattawa City Council that Fernando Mu–—z as been offered the entry level police officer position.

Jensen said Mu–—z will be able to assume the post after passing psychological testing and polygraph testing.

Jensen also reported there are seven applicants for the position of lateral police officer. That hiring process is on-going.
