Born Rosetta Josepha Van de Hoven in Carrington, Foster County, N.D., on Oct. 2, 1923. Rose was the last living of 10 children born to Cornelius Van de Hoven and Anna Katrina Poos.
She is survived by her children, Dick (Vikki) Anderson of Spokane, Don (Kathi) Anderson of St. Cloud, Minn., Dennis (Jana) Anderson of Spokane; step-children, Virginia (John) Trejbal, Harry Lien and Stan (DeAnn) Lien; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Lien and son David W. Anderson.
Rose was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at Fairmount Memorial Park, Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane. A reception will follow in the parsonage.
