What a Treat for track Devil

CHENEY - Wilson Creek Devil Jacob Treat captured the Class 1B javelin competition with a throw of 163'5" to wrap his high school career with his best ever throw.
The senior bested his previous high of 155'3" set at the regional meet in Wapato a little more than a week ago.
Heading into the competition, Treat was seeded third. He took eighth in the event as a sophomore and finished fifth last year.
Joining Treat as a top finisher was Derek Fredere who finished fourth in the 3,200-meter run on Saturday. The Wilson Creek athlete ran a 11:08.67.
