Passed on to the Lord May 31, 2011. Born Feb. 10, 1933, in Deadwood, S.D., to Susannah Carolina Piper and Cleveland Augustus Edgar.

Proceeded in death by three sisters, Esther May, Ima Katherine, Marie (Betty) Alys; three brothers, Rex Duane, Glen Percy, Thomas (Mike) Winsel and great-granddaughter Emilee M. Shedenhelm.

Survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold R. Johnson; three children, Susanne Lang and husband Marvin (Eddie), Sandy Johnson and husband Tim, and son Dan R. Johnson; four grandchildren, James Shedenhelm and wife Tara, Michelle Wilkinson and husband Dennis, John Shedenhelm and wife Dominique, Steve Root and wife Tami; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her pets were also the love of her life — Angel, Lucky and Momma Kitty. She loved all animals and contributed monthly to the Humane Society. She worked at Clare Pendar, Keytronics, was an in-home beautician and dog groomer, before retiring worked as a CNA. She loved camping, family events and yard sales. Most of her time was spent caring for everyone in her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
