Big Sky Martial Arts second in state meet

Big Sky Martial Arts had 16 individuals earn first place in either sparring, poomse or doubles creative at the Montana State Taekwondo Championships held in Belgrade last month.
BSMA finished second in the team standings with 97 points. Montana Taekwondo Academy of Missoula finished first with 115. Missoula Taekwondo Center finished third with 95.
Eighteen Montana taekwondo schools attended the competition.
BSMA's Danielle Smith was named the Best Female Athlete at the event. Smith, 16, competed in the black belt division and placed second in sparring, poomse and doubles creative.
