EPHRATA - The sun was shinning at Ephrata Raceway Park, with warm and perfect weather making for great racing with the Starbound sponsored  Winged Sprint Car Cast Iron Nationals, Ephrata Pioneer Muffler II WMRA, Pure Stocks and Pepsi Street Stocks.

Tom Beierman led the Winged Sprint Car Cast Iron Nationals  for 31 laps of the 50 lap main event when Othello driver Mike Fought, coming back from a tough wreck in the heat race, took over the lead to win the Winged Sprint Car Cast Iron Nationals followed by Jeff Bird of Victoria, Canada and Joe Smith from Moses Lake.

Pat Bliss from Oregon took the main event of the Washington Midget Racing Association.

In the Pepsi Street Stock main, Mike Cochran gets the early lead,  but Jason Ray moves around Cochran on the eighth lap and holds on to the finish.

With only a few laps remaining of the Ephrata Pioneer Muffler II Pure Stocks, Colton fisher pushed to the front to take over the main event.
