My husband, John Anderson, and I send sincere thanks to Tom Hasslinger for the heartfelt article on Casey Brown's friendship with our black labrador, Brinkley! Casey came into our lives through a shared love of a sweet black lab.

Any person chosen by Casey Brown to be a trusted friend can be considered extremely lucky! Thank you to owner Tudy Gilbert at Paws & Claws Pet Resort for bringing the story of Casey and Brinkley to us many months ago.

Assistant Lee Phillips' enthusiasm about finding a lab puppy for Casey prompted me to find that perfect puppy!
