Assault reported, but no charges

Kalispell Police officers responded to an assault at the intersection of Fifth Avenue West and Second Street West Saturday at 5:12 p.m. after a woman said she was assaulted by another woman. The caller, who said she was spitting up blood, ultimately decided not to press charges.

Officers checked on a man in an apartment complex on Liberty Street after a neighbor said she saw him with a syringe in his arm. The man was fine, and there was no syringe.

Two women were accused of shoplifting from two businesses on South Main Street.

A woman on South Main Street said a man stole her purse while she was at a park. The purse was found in the bathroom, but the unknown thief took cash and credit cards.

A 29-year-old man was taken to a hospital after he was sprayed in the eyes with pepper spray under unknown circumstances at Woodland Park.

A woman on Yellowstone Street reported that several of her possessions have gone missing in the past several months. She said a snowboard and skis were taken over the winter and that a patio table was stolen more recently.

On Merganser Drive, a woman accused her estranged boyfriend of stealing $200 and a cellphone from her.

Someone threw a chunk of a cinder block through the window of a home on Fourth Avenue West North.

Two men were accused of yelling, “People are going to hell,” outside a woman’s apartment on South Main Street. An officer learned it was some sort of church function.

 No damage was found after a caller reported that youths were “tearing up” property in front of a church on Eighth Avenue East North.

A woman who was barefoot, intoxicated and “hysterical” while at a location on Bluefoot Drive was given a ride to her apartment.

Someone stole a laptop computer from a home on 10th Avenue West.

Fraud involving an Internet classifieds website was reported on Empire Loop.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of  a burglary on First Street West in Martin City Saturday at 1:35 a.m.

A fight was reported on Third Street South in Martin City about two hours later.

Disorderly conduct was reported on Lake Blaine Road.

Suspicious activity was reported on Eden Court in Columbia Falls.
