Man dies in Wallace crash

WALLACE - An Anaconda, Mont., man died in a single-car accident Monday morning on Interstate 90 near Wallace.

Woodrow Driver, 71, was a passenger in the 2000 Cadillac DeVille driven by Sheryl Driver, 64, Anaconda, when she lost control of the car at milepost 62, according to the Idaho State Police.

Sheryl Driver failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle collided with concrete barriers on the on-ramp and overturned about 10 a.m., police said.

Woodrow Driver died in the crash. Sheryl Driver was taken to Shoshone Medical Center. Her condition was unavailable Monday evening.

"The use of seat belts, alcohol and drugs are still under investigation," a press release said.
