Irene DeLange LeGore, 93, passed away at her home in Coeur d'Alene on June 14, 2011.
Irene was born in Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada, on Feb. 16, 1918, to Alfred and Imelda Frechette. She became a U.S. Citizen in 1960.
Irene married Robert DeLange in 1945 in Wallace. Together they had two children: Barry and Marcia. She resided in Wallace until Robert's passing, then she moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1970. She married Jack LeGore in 1972 in Coeur d'Alene. With Jack she acquired a stepson, Jack, and a stepdaughter, Connie.
Irene worked as a medical receptionist, and also as a piano teacher for 20 years. While in Wallace, she was the Organist for St. Alphonsus Catholic Church where she was also a member. After moving to Coeur d'Alene she became a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
She enjoyed reading, writing and oil painting, but especially treasured time spent with her family.
She is survived by her son, Barry (Jeri) DeLange; daughter Marcia (Skip) Archer; stepson Jack (Carol) LeGore and family of Lynnwood, Wash.; and stepdaughter Connie (Rudy) Spencer and family of Spokane.
Irene is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert DeLange; her second husband, Jack LeGore; as well as four sisters and two brothers.

A graveside memorial will take place at noon Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Osburn Day Cemetery on Madison Street in Osburn. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, has been entrusted to handle the arrangements.
